About Us

For all updates on worship and meetings impacted by the Corona Virus (Covid-19), please check out our Facebook page.  Currently, we are livestreaming our 9 am Sunday worship and providing other spiritual care resources on the St. John’s Facebook page.  Worship services are also posted under the tab above titled, “Sermon Videos.”  The full service is posted about, not only the sermons.

Now about us…..We are grateful for the opportunity to praise and worship God and to show the love of Jesus through service to others.

Our worship styles invites participation through sung and spoken responses, prayers and signing of hymns.  Many people volunteer to enrich our worship through choir, playing instruments, reading the Bible lessons, ushering, greeting and helping to serve Holy Communion.

We strive to share the love of Jesus through various forms of service to our community, including active participation in fundraising for G.R.A.C.E., and in preparing and serving an annual Thanksgiving Day meal.  Our pastor is a member of the Richland County Ministerial Association (RCMA) which includes St. John’s participation in community worship, the local food pantry, and homeless shelter.  We also have a vibrant quilting group that makes dozens and dozens of quilts to send to people in need, and we regularly participate in gathering items for Lutheran World Relief kits.

Come and see how God is at work here.

St. John’s is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  On a more local level, we are part of the South Central Synod of Wisconsin.
